Pleasanton, CA, March 12, 2020 – Cool Earth Solar, a SunPower Commercial Dealer, has completed a 451-kilowatt (kW) high efficiency solar power system at ATUM in Newark, Calif. The fully-integrated SunPower roof and Carport system will provide energy to ATUM’s nearly 50,000 square foot bio-engineering and research facility in Newark.

During the initial analysis Cool Earth Solar realized that ATUM had high energy use, and very limited space. Using SunPower’s 470/Watt Commercial Panels, which are 22% efficient, they were able to maximize on ATUM’s roof and parking lot space, offsetting the facility’s entire energy consumption.
